••• MEET THE JURY•••
Arne Hain is a German animation director and stop-motion artist known for his handcrafted storytelling. A graduate of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Hain combines traditional and digital techniques. His diverse credits range from „Phil Tippett’s MAD GOD“ and „Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker“ to commercials and award-winning shorts like „The Last Bar“. With „Task Force Querlitz“, Hain directed his first major TV series, pushing German animation into adult territory.

Maximilian Breckwoldt is a Berlin-based cultural worker and independent scholar. Since 2023, they have worked with the Festival of Animation Berlin, organizing the Berlin Animation HUB, an industry event connecting animators and producers.They’ve led Film and Genre Theory workshops at the Jewish Film Festival Berlin Brandenburg (2023, 2024), and their academic work on body politics in horror cinema has been featured at the Cine-Excess conference in the UK. Their peer-reviewed essay on Hellraiser was published in Cine-Excess Journal Issue 6.Maximilian also collaborates with queer film distributor Salzgeber, co-organizes the Queerfilmfestival in Germany and Austria, and contributes to the queer film magazine sissy.
Rozálie Brožková is a producer at Vernes, a film and television company based in Prague, Czech Republic. The company’s production primarily focuses on film and television projects with social impact, as well as educational formats, independent films, and animation. With over 10 years of experience in the film and television industry, she has worked as an executive producer and has produced various short films.
In addition to her work at Vernes, she also works as a freelance producer and production manager. Her professional background includes valuable experience in producing multimedia museum exhibitions and architectural projects. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach and is particularly interested in projects that foster social change.

••• PITCHING RULES •••

Each project will have 5 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes of feedback
from the international jury.

Participation is mandatory if the project is selected.

The entire pitch, including all presentation materials, must be in English.

Only student projects are eligible.
The top three projects will receive the following awards:
