Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter

Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter is an Icelandic director and actress who managed to win the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 with a five-minute feature film. The short film competition category allows films up to 15 minutes long, and most narrative films tend to run between 10 and 15 minutes. So how is it possible that such a micro-short film managed to captivate the jury and receive an award at Cannes? Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter will talk about this in her upcoming masterclass, which will be moderated by Natalia Golovchenko.
