First Look at Prague Film Festival 2026

Prague Film Festival 2026 brought six days of screenings, discussions, masterclasses and industry events to Kino Pilotů in Prague. The festival presented feature films in their Czech premieres alongside an international selection of short films, connecting filmmakers, students, industry guests and audiences from different countries.

This year’s programme combined contemporary auteur cinema, student work and experimental storytelling, while the Industry section offered masterclasses, networking events and the second edition of the Anirama Pitching Forum for emerging animation projects. Throughout the festival, audiences had the opportunity to meet filmmakers in person and take part in post-screening discussions and professional events.
