Prague Film Festival Announces Partnership with Toronto Nollywood International Film Festival

The Prague Film Festival, taking place from April 23–26, 2025, at Kino Pilotů in Prague, proudly announces a new strategic partnership with the Toronto Nollywood International Film Festival (TNIFF). This prestigious Canadian festival, which also serves as a qualifier for the Canadian Screen Awards, now becomes a key partner of the Prague Film Festival. The collaboration promises exceptional opportunities not only for filmmakers but also an outstanding cinematic experience for the general public.

A Diverse Program and Strengthening of International Ties

The Prague Film Festival will offer visitors a rich and diverse program, including screenings of over 50 films, an industry program, and exclusive masterclasses led by award-winning European directors. This year’s edition will place special emphasis on strengthening international relationships.

Award-Winning Films from Canada’s TNIFF to Screen in Prague

As part of the partnership, award-winning films from the Canadian festival will be showcased within the Prague Film Festival program. Likewise, winning films from PFF will be screened in Toronto. This exchange of films will be complemented by the participation of delegations from Canada and the Czech Republic at selected screenings and networking events.

This Year’s Prague Film Festival Jury

The organizers have also revealed that this year’s jury will consist of prominent filmmakers whose works have been celebrated at the Festival de Cannes. The full jury lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
